Forno Bonomi, a historic Italian brand and the world’s leading producer of ladyfingers and other sweet baked goods, has appointed DDB Group Italy as its strategic communications partner for 2026 through a direct appointment.
Founded in 1850, Forno Bonomi is a long-standing family-owned company based in Roverè Veronese, in the heart of the Lessinia area near Verona, where unspoiled nature and fresh mountain air provide the backdrop to a production model that combines the artisanal know-how of a long family tradition with technologically advanced industrial processes. This synthesis gives rise to its ladyfingers—an undisputed symbol of Tiramisù worldwide—alongside a wide range of sweet specialties, including puff pastries, «amaretti», and butter shortbread biscuits. Today, the company exports to 110 countries, boasting a strong international presence and revenues in the tens of millions of euros, confirming its position as one of Italy’s leading food excellence brands.
DDB Group Italy will be responsible for redefining Forno Bonomi’s brand image and for developing its integrated communication activities, with the aim of strengthening the brand’s shelf leadership and enhancing its extensive product portfolio, with a clear focus on the company’s heritage, origins, and core principles, while maintaining a forward-looking approach to innovation.
